The Asahara Cult
EnglishFor english I did a fake interview between me and Asahara Shoko. I thought this would be a good way to show his perspective on everything and to help people understand what his beliefs were. To start this I had to first do research to find as much information on Asahara's view. I then started making questions to ask and coming up with answers. This took a view of attempts to get answers that showed the perspective enough and weren't super short. I ended up with questions and answers about his cult, why he did attacks, if he regretted anything, his past life, and much more. I also highlighted important parts that came straight from my research and explained them.

ArtFor art I made my own photo gallery. This was actually fun and interesting to do. I started by gathering pictures that could go with perspective. I put them on the walls and then came up with a description for each one. I made sure the descriptions would make sense to someone who knew nothing about the topic and I also made sure there were a lot of different pictures to get my information across. This portion of the project was easy because I liked doing it. I think the art gallery is a cool way to teach people about the cult, survivors, the train station, and what happened to the people who helped with the attack.

Social studiesFor social studies I did a google slides presentation. To start it I watched a youtube documentary and took notes on the perspective of people in japan, the cult, people on the subway during the attack, Asahara,a survivor, the survivors wife, and a specific member in the cult. After, I got the notes and I got pictures and put it all together in google slides. And after that I went through and added more information to each picture to make sure each perspective was fully explained.
